FUNDEMENTAL Of Coordinate Geometry
Coordinate
geometry is frightened by many students and today I am going to discuss the fundamental
of coordinate geometry.
There are
two axis X axis-horizontal and Y axis-perpendicular. There are 4 quadrants in
the graph.
1st quadrant is positive for both x and y
value
2nd quadrant is negative for x value and
positive for y value
3rd quadrant is negative for both x and y
value
4th quadrant is positive for x value and negative
for y value

The equation of any straight line is y=mx+c
Where m=slope
of the line
C=constant
To determine
the slope of any line, check the coefficient of x
For example,
2x+y=4
y=-2x+4
So slope is
here=-2
